Camping in the Delta Area

Pitching up your tent in one of its numerous camp sites is the best way to discover and enjoy the Delta Area. This area offers multiple different camp sites of all size and kind but watch out: they can be fully booked up in the summer! So take a look at the different offers and book your stay a few weeks before your holiday.

Roompot Vakanties is one of the biggest camping operators in the Delta Area. They offer a  package with a wide range of facilities, often at a unique location  and often with free entrance to one of the tropical swimming pools along a coast.
To get a good overview of numerous  camp sites of the area, contact one of the local VVV offices (tourist offices). The ANWB travelers’ shops have also a lot of information about camping possibilities in the region.

Camping on a farm

Camping on a local farm is a type of accommodation which gets more and more popular each year. It’s allowed for farmers in the Delta area to have a certain amount of camping places for caravans and tents next to their agricultural company. There’s a strict limitation on the amount of places so that these camp sites stay always calm and spacious. The range of facilities is often less wide than at bigger camp sites but you will surely have enough comfort for a pleasant stay.

The most extensive list of farmer camping is available at the local VVV offices. Because the amount of places is strictly limited, it’s important to book your stay in time.
